Why Bio-Terry ^®?

First of all it needs to be said that there is a great deal of excellent material out there with regard to Biological Terrorism. I know. I spent a generous part of these recent years reviewing what is out there. The motive behind this masochism? Sheer ignorance. I was essentially ignorant concerning the how's and why's, do's and don'ts of bioterrorism. So I attended courses, read texts, and reviewed countless articles, both hard copy and on-line. What I discovered is that for Emergency Medicine, the definitive text on the subject has yet to be written. The material that exists is all over the place. It is either too comprehensive to be efficient or too superficial to be of any real benefit when a crisis occurs, real or otherwise. Pathophysiology is important, but there is no need to wade through it in order to get to the heart of the matter. Meanwhile, it's difficult to find drug dosages that include prescribing for the pediatric population. Therefore, over a period of time and study, I attempted to collate all available and essential information into a format that would be user-friendly when the first hint of a biological assault takes place. For this reason, Bio-Terry ^® was created.
